Yau Tsim Mong District includes Tsim Sha Tsui, Kwun Chung (now known as Jordan), Yau Ma Tei, Mong Kok, Tai Kok Tsui and part of the West Kowloon Reclamation. It is bounded by the sea to the west and south, the Sham Shui Po district to the north, and the Kowloon City District to the east by the Kowloon-Canton Railway.
Yau Tsim Mong District, an important commercial and tourist center in Kowloon, is full of commercial buildings, showing the prosperity and vitality of the city; in addition, there are a number of famous scenic spots, large shopping malls and streets with special characteristics, which is a must-visit place for tourists visiting Hong Kong, and the Yau Tsim Mong District is the pivotal point of the main transport routes in Hong Kong. A number of MTR stations, the Airport Railway, the Cross Harbour Tunnel, the Western Harbour Crossing, the Star Ferry, the China Ferry Terminal, as well as Nathan Road, the West Kowloon Highway, the Kowloon Southern Link, the future Shatin to Central Link, the Kwun Tong Line Extension, the Central Kowloon Route, and the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link, are all centered in the district.
