Dawangguzhuang Town, belonging to Wuqing District, Tianjin City, is located in the northwest of Wuqing District, east of Gaocun Town and Baigutun Town, west of Langfang Development Zone, Hebei Province, south of Chengguan Town, north of Tongzhou District, Beijing, the town's people's government is 33.7 km from the district government, with a total area of 48.08 square kilometers, as of the end of 2019, the town of Dawangguzhuang has a household population of 25,292 people. In 1958, it belonged to the Hongqi Commune of Chengguan, Wuqing County.In 2001, the township was abolished and set up as a town. As of June 2020, Dawangguzhuang Town has 17 administrative villages under its jurisdiction; the town's people's government is located in Dawangguzhuang Village.
