Shuangjie Town, belonging to Beichen District, Tianjin City, is located in the north-central part of Beichen District, neighboring Dazhangzhuang Town to the east, Beicang Town in the south across the Yongdingxin River, bordering Shuangkou Town to the west, and adjoining Shimizhuzhuang Street in Wuqing District to the north, with an administrative area of the town of 42.21 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Shuangjie Town had a household population of 41,287. In April 1977, Changzhuang, Xiaxinzhuang and Zhaozhuang were incorporated into Shuangjie Commune. in July 1983, Shuangjie Commune was changed to Shuangjie Township, and the production brigade was changed to the villagers' committee. since August 1995, Shuangjie Township has been changed to Shuangjie Town. As of June 2020, Shuangjie Township has 7 communities and 15 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township's people's government is located in Shuangjie Village Industrial Park.
