Tianmu Town, belonging to Beichen District of Tianjin, is located in the south-central part of Beichen District, neighboring Pudong Street, Yixingbu Town and Xiaodian Town in the east, connecting Hebei District and Hongqiao District in the south, Ruijing Street and Qingguang Town in the west, and relying on the streets of Orchard Xincun and Beicang Town in the north, with the administrative area of the whole town covering 25.16 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Tianmu Town has a household population of 47,395. In November 1982, Tianmu Commune was changed to Tianmu Township.In 1986, Tianmu Township and Tianmu Street were abolished, and Tianmu Town was established.In March 1992, Tianmu Town was subordinate to Beichen District. As of June 2020, Tianmu Town has 24 communities and 15 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the town's people's government stationed on the east side of Jingjin Road in Tianmu Village. In 2011, the total financial revenue of Tianmu Town was 1.15 billion yuan. Among them, the local financial income was 299 million yuan, and the per capita financial income was 29,600 yuan. As of the end of 2019, there are 218 industrial enterprises in Tianmu Town, of which 22 are above scale, and there are 15 supermarkets or general stores with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
