Jiulong Township, belonging to Tuoquan County, Xing'an League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the northeastern part of Tuoquan County, neighboring Taonan City, Jilin Province, in the east and north, bordering Shuiquan Township in the south, and connecting with Dongdurji Township in the west. Jiulong Township has an area of 215.57 square kilometers, and as of the end of 2018, there were 14,380 household residents.
In 1958, it was separated from Durkee Commune to set up Jiulong Commune; in 1980, it was changed to Jiulong Township; in 2006, it was changed to Jiulong Township, Shuiquan Township; and in 2011, it was changed to Jiulong Township. As of June 2020, Jiulong Township has 13 village committees under its jurisdiction.
