Shuiquan Town, belonging to Tuchuan County, Xing'an League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the southeastern part of Tuchuan County, bordering with Taonan City, Jilin Province in the east, connecting with Taiping Township in the southwest and west, adjoining Tuchuan Township in the northwest, and neighboring Jiulong Township and Durkee Township in the north. The area of Shuiquan Township is 621.25 square kilometers, and as of the end of 2018, there were 20,706 household residents.
In the first year of Xuantong of the Qing Dynasty (1909), there began to be reclamation households to live in Shuiquan area; in the twenty-fifth year of the Republic of China (1936), Shuiquan Village was set up; in the thirty-sixth year of the Republic of China (1947), it was changed into the fourth district; in March 1960, Shuiquan Township was changed into a commune; in 1983, it was changed into Shuiquan Township; in December 1999, it was changed into Shuiquan Township. As of June 2020, Shuiquan Town is under the jurisdiction of 1 neighborhood committee, 13 village committees, and 1 forestry living area.
In 2017, the number of enterprises in ShuiQuan Town totaled 22, with 152 people employed in the enterprises; in 2018, there were 50 general stores or supermarkets with a business area of 50 square meters or more in ShuiQuan Town.
