Tumet Right Banner, Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region flag, located in the central part of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, southeastern Baotou City, is located on the north bank of the Yellow River, is a continental semi-arid monsoon climate, adjacent to eight banners, counties (districts), with a total area of 2,356.05 square kilometers. As of June 2023, Tumet Right Banner has 5 towns, 3 townships, and 1 other township-level unit under its jurisdiction. As of the end of 2022, the total household population of Tumet Right Banner was 347,600 people.
Tumet is a Mongolian name meaning "tens of thousands", originating from "Tumet Department" in the Ming Dynasty. The first year of Qing Chongde (1636), the Qing dynasty, the naturalization of the city of tumet for tumet left, right two wing flag; 1958, the abolition of salazhi county, the original jurisdiction of the large part of the flag into tumet; 1969 January, tumet left flag, tumet right flag separation; 1971, tumet right flag belongs to the leadership of the city of baotou. The main attractions of the banner include Meidaizhao, Cilechuan Museum, Jufeng Mountain Nature Reserve, etc. On July 6, 2023, the banner was selected as one of the "Third Batch of Demonstration Counties for the Integration of Urban and Rural Transportation", and on December 15, 2023, the banner was selected as one of the "National Veterinary Antimicrobial Drug Use Programs in 2023". On December 15, 2023, Tumurturu Banner was selected as one of the "2023 List of Counties (Cities, Districts and Flags) with Outstanding Effectiveness in the National Veterinary Antimicrobial Use Reduction Action".
