Ordos, meaning "many palaces" in Mongolian, with a per capita GDP of 256,908 yuan in 2022, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, located in the southwest of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, in the hinterland of the Ordos Plateau, between latitudes of 37°35′24″~40°51′40″N and longitudes of 106°42′40″~111°27′20″E. In 2023, Ordos City completed the gross regional product of 584.986 billion yuan, calculated on the basis of constant price, an increase of 7.0%.
