Li Xi Town, belongs to Wuning County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. Located in the north of Gan Mufu mountainous area, the middle reaches of the Xiushui River, northwestern Wuning County. East of Futian Township, south of the Xiu River, and Qingjiang Township, Shidu Township across the river, west of Funatan Township, north of Hubei Province, Tongshan County as a neighbor. The total area of the administrative region is 291.59 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Lixi Town has a registered population of 27,103.
In the old days, the territory of Lixi Township belonged to Nianfeng Township; in 1994, Lixi Township was withdrawn to build Lixi Township. As of June 2020, there are 15 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Lixi Township. The people's government of the town is located in the political access road of the market town of LiXi Town.In 2019, LiXi Town completed the GDP of 452 million yuan, the total financial revenue of 85.67 million yuan, and the per capita disposable income of the town's residents was 16,807 yuan.
In February 2020, LiXi Town was awarded the title of Jiujiang City Advanced Collective for Epidemic Resistance.
