Shajiang Town, belonging to Xiapu County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is located in the south-central part of Xiapu County, neighboring Changchun Town in the east, bordering Dongwuyang in the south, Yantian Harbor in the west, Yantian She Township and Songgang Street in the north, and bordering with Xinan Township in the southwest, with the township's people's government 10.4 kilometers away from the urban area of Xiapu City, and with a total regional area of 143.38 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Shajiang Town has a registered population of 41,044. During the Song Dynasty, it was divided into Anmin, Xinnan, Xinbei, and Lianhai in Andong Township; in 1984, it was changed to a town. As of June 2020, Shajiang Town has 1 community, 20 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Nanping Village.
