Ten straight townships in Fengdu County, Chongqing Municipality, bordering on the Yangtze River in the south, with a riverbank line of 30 miles, is the township with the longest riverbank line in the whole county, bordering with Renjia Township of Zhongxian County in the east, and 45 kilometers away from the new county town of Fengdu County. The town covers an area of 108.5 square kilometers, with arable land area of 2,169.57 hectares, a forest area of 50,000 acres and a forest coverage rate of 32%. The town has 17 villages under its jurisdiction, 1 residents' committee, 54 villages (residents' groups), 12,992 households and 43,468 people, of which 6,860 are permanent residents of the market town.
