Jiangchi Town is located in the south bank of Yangtze River, east of Shizhu County, east of Shizhu County, south of Shizhu Three Trees Township, west of Longhe Township in this county, north of Gaojia Township in this county, is a prosperous border trade town in the eastern part of Fengdu County, and also used to be a red revolutionary base for the activities of underground guerrillas in eastern Sichuan, and is known as the "East Gate of Fengdu". The town covers an area of 68.1 square kilometers, with a minimum elevation of 480 meters and a maximum elevation of 1,200 meters. The topography of the terrain is "three mountains and two dams" situation, jurisdiction of 10 villages, 53 village groups, 5083 households, the main backbone of the economic project for sericulture, animal husbandry, fruit and vegetables, as a typical mountainous agricultural town.
