Hucheng Town, belonging to Liangping County of Chongqing Municipality, is located in the northwestern part of the county, 67 kilometers away from the county seat, where Liangping, Daxian and Dazhu counties meet. The town is connected to Longsheng Township and Yuanyi Township of Liangping County in the east, Bishan Township of Liangping County and Shiqiao Township of Dazhu County in the south, Nanyue Township of Daxian County in the west, and Jushan Township of Liangping County and Huangting Township of Daxian County in the north. The center is located at about 107°33′ east longitude and 30°49′ north latitude. The town has a total area of 78 square kilometers and a total population of 42,927.In 2014, the town's GDP was 437 million yuan, the annual gross output value of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries was 277.8 million yuan, 160 million yuan, and 00.8 million yuan, respectively, the investment in fixed assets in society was 300.87 million yuan, the retail sales of consumer goods in the society was 190 million yuan, and the net income per capita of the farmers was 8,950 yuan.
