Fuping Township is subordinate to Liangping County of Chongqing Municipality, located in the northeastern part of the county, connecting to Yujia Township of Wanzhou District in the east, Chengdong Township in the south, Hexing Township in the west, and Guangzhu Township of Kaijiang County in the north.
