Daguan Township is subordinate to Liangping County of Chongqing Municipality, located in the southeastern border of the county, 33 kilometers away from the county town in the north, bordering with Panglong Township and Tiemen Township in the county in the northwest, and surrounded by three other towns of Shihuang, Tailai and Jinji in Zhongxian County in the other three directions. The center is about 107°49′ east longitude, 30°33′ north latitude. The town has 8 administrative villages and 66 villagers' groups, covering an area of 53.2 square kilometers, with 19,075 acres of arable land and a population of more than 20,000. in 2014, the town's GDP was 390 million yuan, with an average annual growth rate of more than 10.5%; and investment in social fixed assets reached 480 million yuan, with an average annual growth rate of more than 15%.
