Shuangfeng Township, subordinate to Chongqing Hechuan District, is located in the eastern part of Hechuan District, bordering Qingping Township in the east, Tuchang Township in the south, Caojie Street in the west, Yunmen Street in the northwest across the Qiujiang River, Guandu Township in the north, and Shidan Township in the northeast, 26 kilometers away from the seat of the People's Government of Hechuan District, with a total area of 96.82 square kilometers.
During the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty (1723-1736), the territory of Shuangfeng Township belonged to Hezhou Mingyue Li; in January 1994, Shuangfeng Township merged with Yuhua Township to establish Shuangfeng Township. As of the end of 2018, the household population of Shuangfeng Township was 41,559. As of June 2020, Shuangfeng Township has 1 community and 14 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located at 223 Chaoyang Street.
