Longfeng Town, belonging to Chongqing Hechuan District, is located in the northwestern end of Hechuan District, bordering YANWO Town and SAMIAO Town in the east, adjacent to LONGXING Town in the south, connected with LONGSHAPE Town of TONGNAN District in the west, and adjoining with ERLANG Town in the north, 52 km away from the seat of the People's Government of Hechuan District, with a total area of 66.12 square kilometers. During the Sui and Tang dynasties, the territory of Longfeng Township belonged to Chishui County of Hezhou; in December 1993, Longfeng Township was withdrawn to build Longfeng Township. As of the end of 2018, Longfeng Town had a household population of 30,706. As of June 2020, Longfeng Township has 1 community and 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located at No. 68, Julong Street.
