Sanhui Town, belonging to Chongqing Zhongxian, is located in the northwest of Zhongxian County, east of Gold Town, south of Baishi Town, west of Maiguizhen, north of Guanba Town, 36 kilometers from the Zhongxian County Government Residence, a total area of 101 square kilometers. In the third year of Xuantong of Qing Dynasty (1911), Sanhui Township was established; in October 1992, Sanhui Township, Liren Township, Jinlong Township and Zhihua Township were merged into Sanhui Township. As of the end of 2018, the household population of Sanhui Township was 36,191.
