Longxing Town, belonging to Chongqing Hechuan District, is located in the northwestern part of Hechuan District, bordering Gulou Town and Dashi Street in the east, Taihe Town in the south, Shanghe Town in Tongnan District in the west, Longfeng Town and Sanmiao Town in the north, 45 kilometers away from the seat of the People's Government of Hechuan District, with a total area of 90.63 square kilometers.
During the Yongzheng period (1723-1736) of the Qing Dynasty, it began to set up the Daughter's Monument Field, which belonged to Lai Su Li of Hezhou; in December 1992, it was changed from Longxing Township to Longxing Township. As of the end of 2018, the household population of Longxing Township was 36,159. As of June 2020, Longxing Township has 2 communities and 11 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township's people's government is located at No. 12 Culture Street, Longxing Field.
