Qunli Town is located in the northwest of Tongnan County, Chongqing. It is 35 kilometers away from the county government seat, east of Guxi and Longshang, south of Guilin, west of Yuxi, the whole territory is 8.8 kilometers long east-west and 8.6 kilometers long north-south. The town covers an area of 48.5 square kilometers, belongs to the Sichuan Basin shallow hill zone, the land to Suining purple sandy soil is dominated by the general altitude of 250-450 meters within. There are 8 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of the town, 62 villagers' groups, 5,696 households, 21,205 people and 13,025 laborers. The Sui-Yu Express Railway passes through the town (7.2 kilometers), and there are 7.3 kilometers of one-hour cemented roads, 45 kilometers of village roads, 1 small type I reservoir, 4 small type II reservoirs, and 132 mountain ponds (Shihecheng). The village has 21,301 mu of cultivated land (10,250 mu of paddy land and 10,050 mu of dry land), with a major production of grain and oil (annual output of 78,850 tons), and used to be a production base for specialty oil and green beans in Chongqing.
