Bozi Town is located in the southwest of Tongnan District, 15 kilometers from the county, and 319 National Highway 5 kilometers connected to the county's north-south trunk highway Wangxing Highway and the Qiongjiang River through the territory of 10 kilometers and 18 kilometers, respectively, the future Sui-Yu Expressway will be in accordance with the territory. The town borders with Zitong, Shuangjiang, Chongshang, Yongan, Wenming, Tangba, Tai'an and other towns and villages, and has a strong radiation-driven role in the surrounding. The town was first founded in Song Dynasty, named after the tall cypress and catalpa trees in front of the Guandi Temple in the town, and was established in 1950 as Paizi Township (Township).
