Xihongmen Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Daxing District, Beijing, is located in the north side of the new city of Daxing District, between longitude 116°18′56″~116°26′19″ East and latitude 39°43′18″~39°48′24″ North. It borders with Old Palace Town and Yinghai Town in the east, Huangcun Town in the south, and Huaxiang of Fengtai District in the northwest. The town area is 28.54 square kilometers.
Xihongmen area belonged to Daxing County of Shuntian Prefecture in Kyoto during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. In the thirty-fifth year of the Republic of China (1946), it belonged to Nanyuan District of Beiping City. In 1948, it belonged to the twenty-third district of Beiping City, and later belonged to the eleventh district. 1953, it belonged to Nanyuan district, and Xihongmen Township was established. 1958, May, it was transferred to Daxing County. September, it belonged to Huangcun Township, and October, it was belonged to Hongxing Commune. 1972, Xihongmen Brigade was changed to Xihongmen Sub-field (also known as Xihongmen Management Area), and 1984, May, it was established Xihongmen Township. 1990, August, Xihongmen Township was changed to Township. In August 1990, Xihongmen Township was changed to a township.In September 1998, Xihongmen Township was reallocated to Daxing District.In March 2000, Jinxing Township was merged into it.In 2005, the Xihongmen District Office (two plates, one set of people) was set up in Xihongmen Township. As of the end of 2018, Xihongmen Township had a household population of 35,190. As of June 2020, Xihongmen Town has 21 communities and 26 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the town government located at No. 1 Hongfu Road in Xihongmen Town.
As of February 2023, Xihongmen Town has 18,000 enterprises of various types.In 2022, Xihongmen Town realized tax revenue of 2.25 billion yuan and fiscal revenue of 530 million yuan.
