Panggezhuang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Daxing District, Beijing, is located in the central part of Daxing District, between longitude 116°12′36″~116°23′52″E and latitude 39°33′46″~39°39′16″N, bordering with Wei Shanzhuang Town in the east, Yufa Town and Lixian Town in the south, Liulihe Town in Fangshan District in the west, and Beizangcun Town and Tiangongyuan Street in the north. The town area is 109.4 square kilometers. In the first year of Ming Yongle (1403), Panggezhuang area belonged to Wanping County of Shuntian Prefecture. In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), Shuntian Prefecture was changed to Jingzhao District, which governed 20 counties such as Daxing and Wanping, and Panggezhuang belonged to the town under the jurisdiction of the county. In March, 1945, Zhuo County, Liangxiang and Wanping were established as a triple county, referred to as Zhuo Liang Wan County, and Panggezhuang belonged to the third district of Zhuo Liang Wan County. in August, 1945 to February, 1946, the ten prefectures in Jizhong were adjusted, and Panggezhuang was divided into four districts, with the jurisdiction of nine administrative villages, namely, Democracy, Shengli, Minsheng, Prosperity, Unity, Happiness, Henan, Hetong, and Hexi, and in March, 1950, it was the government of Daxing County's second district, which was changed from a town under county jurisdiction to a district, with the jurisdiction of a town under county jurisdiction. In March 1952, Panggezhuang township was changed to township, with the jurisdiction of Dongzhongbao, Xizhongbao, Lijiaoyao, etc. In September 1958, the township was changed to commune, with the jurisdiction of 10 brigades and 86 villages, which was stationed in Panggezhuang. in May 1961, it was analyzed to be Panggezhuang, Dingfuzhuang, and Beizangcun Communes, and Panggezhuang Commune was under the jurisdiction of 29 villages. in March 1983, the commune was changed to township, and in April 1990, the township was changed to town. In March 2000, Dingfuzhuang Township was incorporated. As of the end of 2018, Panggezhuang Township had a household population of 50,111. As of June 2020, Panggezhuang Township has 7 communities and 53 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township government is located in Panggezhuang Township, about 100 meters south of the intersection of the Daguang Expressway and Prosperity Road. In 2011, the total industrial output value of Panggezhuang Town reached 4 billion yuan, an increase of 97% over the previous year. The total financial income was 170 million yuan, an increase of 57.4% over the previous year. From the point of view of each major tax, the completion of business tax of 69.54 million yuan, value-added tax of 13.21 million yuan, corporate income tax of 27.41 million yuan, respectively, an increase of 32.6%, 15.37%, 98.9% over the previous year.
