Lixian Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Daxing District, Beijing, is located in the southern part of Daxing District, between longitude 116°19′07″~116°31′16″E and latitude 39°30′22″~39°36′02″N. It is bordered by Guangyang District, Langfang City, Hebei Province in the south, and Wei Shanzhuang Town and Panggezhuang Town in the north. It borders with Guangyang District, Langfang City, Hebei Province in the south, Wei Shanzhuang Town and Panggezhuang Town in the north, Anding Town in the east, and Yufa Town in the west. The town area is 93.84 square kilometers. Lixian Township was formed by the merger of the former Lixian Township and the former Daxinzhuang Township. In 1946, Lixian Township was the residence of Daxing County People's Government in the liberated area, and in 1949, it was the first district of Daxing County. 1953, Lixian Township was established, and in 1958, it belonged to the People's Commune of Anding Township, and in 1961, it was established as Lixian People's Commune. 1983, the commune was changed into a township, and 1990, Lixian Township was changed into a township, with 19 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Lixian Township. The former Daxinzhuang Township is located in the western part of the township, originally belonged to Wanping County of Shuntian Province, and was transferred to Daxing County in 1949.In 1953, Daxinzhuang Township was established.In 1958, it was transferred to Yubao People's Commune.In 1961, Daxinzhuang People's Commune was established.In 1983, the commune was changed to a township, with 19 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.In May 2000, Daxinzhuang Township was merged into Lixian Township. As of the end of 2018, Lixian Township had a household population of 43,333. As of June 2020, Lixian Township has 45 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township government is located in Lixian Township, No. 50 Lixian West Street. In 2011, Lixian Township total revenue of 22.48 million yuan, an increase of 49.4% over the previous year. From the point of view of each major tax, the completion of business tax 13.88 million yuan, value-added tax of 1.53 million yuan, corporate income tax of 2.26 million yuan, respectively, an increase of 41.3%, 6.3%, 123.8% over the previous year.
