Junzhuang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Mentougou District, Beijing, is located between longitude 116°03′45″~116°10′09″ East and latitude 39°58′59″~40°02′04″ North. It is located in the east north of Mentougou District, northeast of Haidian District Sujiatuo Town, southeast of Shijingshan District Wulituo adjacent, south of Longquan Town, west of Miaofengshan Town. The town area is 33.47 square kilometers. Before 1949, the area of Junzhuang belonged to the 16th district of Wanping County.In 1953, Junzhuang Township was set up.In 1958, it belonged to Mentougou People's Commune.In 1962, Junzhuang People's Commune was set up.In 1984, the commune was changed to a township.In 1990, the township was changed to a town. As of the end of 2018, Junzhuang Township had a registered population of 11,885. As of October 2019, Junzhuang Town has 3 communities and 8 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town government is located in Xiyangtuo Village, Junzhuang Town. In 2011, the total financial income of Junzhuang Town was 370.6 million yuan, and the total local financial income was 21.66 million yuan, an increase of 31% over the previous year. General budget revenue of 67.25 million yuan, an increase of 51.7% over the previous year. Of which the town-level revenue of 12.66 million yuan, an increase of 30.9% over the previous year.
