Old Palace Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Daxing District, Beijing, is located in the northeastern part of Daxing District, between longitude 116°23′24″~116°28′06″ East and latitude 39°44′54″~39°49′51″ North. It is connected with Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone in the east, Yinghai Town and Xihongmen Town in the south, Heyi Street of Fengtai District in the west, and Xiaohongmen Township of Chaoyang District in the north. The town area is 29.4 square kilometers. Old Palace Township evolved from the former Old Palace Township. 1953, the old Palace, hiatus, Nanchang, Jixian 4 villages in Nanyuan District was established as a township. 1956, the 4 townships were merged to form the Old Palace Township. 1958, May, Daxing County was changed into a district, and at the same time, Nanyuan District was abolished, and the Old Palace Township belonged to Daxing District. 1958, June, the establishment of the Hongxing People's Commune, the Old Palace Township was changed into the Old Palace brigade. 1960, January, the restoration of Daxing County. 1972, October, the Old Palace brigade, the Old Palace Township was changed into the Old Palace Brigade. In October 1972, the old palace brigade was changed to the old palace sub-field.In October 1983, it belonged to Daxing County Hongxing District.In 1990, the old palace township was changed to a town.In 1999, the resident office of Nanjiao Farm belonged to the old palace town.In January 2001, Daxing County was changed to a district, and the town of old palace belonged to the Daxing District.The town of old palace belonged to the Daxing District. As of the end of 2018, Old Palace Town had a household population of 38,555. As of June 2020, Old Palace Town has 30 communities and 19 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town government is located on the east side of Wangxing Lake Country Park in Old Palace Town.
