Chengnan Street, a street under the jurisdiction of Changping District, Beijing, is located in the southeast of Changping urban area, between longitude 116°09′55″~116°15′47″ East and latitude 40°11′13″~40°14′31″ North. It is adjacent to Nanshao Town in the east, connected with Machikou Town in the south, Nankou Town in the west, and Thirteen Town and Chengbei Street in the north. The street area is 14.1 square kilometers.
In April 1949, Changping Town was established. after 1958, it belonged to 3 communes, namely, Shiranjin, Chengguan and Changping Town. in June 1979, the name was changed to Chengguan Commune. in September 1982, the commune was changed to a township. in April 1986, Chengguan Township was merged into Changping Town. in May 1990, Changping Town was divided into Changping Town and Chengcheng Town. in 2003, when Changping County was changed to a district, Changping Town was changed to Chengnan Street. As of the end of 2011, Chengnan Street had a household population of 63,861. As of June 2020, Chengnan Street has 16 communities and 5 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the street office is located at No.18, Nanhuan East Road, Changping District.
In 2011, the total industrial output value of Chengnan Street reached 260 million yuan, down 10.1% from the previous year. The total financial income of 226.88 million yuan, an increase of 34.1% over the previous year. The total tax revenue amounted to 1.04 billion yuan. From the point of view of each major tax, the completion of sales tax 79.997 million yuan, value-added tax 574.754 million yuan, corporate income tax 205.337 million yuan, personal income tax H8.199 million yuan, respectively, compared with the previous year, an increase of 56.8%, 21.2%, 78.9%, 78.6%.
