Beiqijia Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Beijing Changping District, is located in the southeastern part of Changping District, between longitude 116°20′45″~116°29′11″E and latitude 40°03′27″~40°09′10″N, bordering with Houshayu Town of Shunyi District to the east, Lai Guangying Township of Chaoyang District to the south, Dongxiaokou Township of Changping District to the south, Shaxa Township to the west and Xiaotangshan Township to the north, across the Wenyu River. The town area is 56.65 square kilometers. In January, 1948, Beiqijia area belonged to the seventh district of Changshun County, and in August, 1949, it belonged to the fifth district of Changping County, and in August, 1953, it was established as a township under the jurisdiction of the district, and Baxianzhuang Township had the jurisdiction of Baxianzhuang, Caomian, Yangezhuang, and Dong Erqi. Lushi Township has jurisdiction over Lushi, Gouzitou and Lingshang. Nanqijiazhuang Township has jurisdiction over Nanqijiazhuang, Beijijiazhuang, Xiejiazhuang and Shaziying. in February 1956, the district was abolished and the townships were merged, Yandan Township's Yandan, Baifang, Haijiaolu, and Nanshiying were merged into Yandan Township, and Shaziying was transferred to Chaoyang District. in August 1958, it was part of the Hongqi People's Commune, and in November it was part of the Xiaotangshan People's Commune and was known as the Beijijijiazhuang Workstation. in November 1959, it was part of the Shahai People's Commune and in 1960 it was part of the China-Vietnamese Friendship People's Commune, called Beiqijia Management Area.In March 1962, Beiqijia People's Commune was established, stationed in Beiqijiazhuang, with 8 production brigades under its jurisdiction.In September 1973, it was relocated to 0.2 km southeast of Yanggezhuang Village.In 1982, the commune was changed to a township.In 1997, the township was changed to a township.In October 1999, the townships of Yandan and Binh Xifu were merged into the township, which formed the present-day jurisdictional boundaries. As of the end of 2018, Beiqijia Township had a household population of 45,886. As of June 2020, Beiqijia Town has 22 communities and 19 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town government is located in Dong Erqi Village, Beiqijia Town, Changping District. In 2011, the total industrial output value of Beiqijia Town reached 1.18 billion yuan, an increase of 32.6% over the previous year. The total financial income was RMB 190 million, an increase of 27.1% over the previous year. Among them, the local financial income was 130 million yuan.
