Cuicun Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Beijing's Changping District, is located in the eastern part of Changping District, between longitude 116°16′40″~116°23′09″E and latitude 40°11′02″~40°18′15″N. It is bordered by Xingshou Town in the east and Xiaotangshan Town in the southeast, adjacent to Baishang Town in the west and Nanshao Town in the north. It borders with Xingshou Town in the east, Xiaotangshan Town in the southeast, Baishang Town in the south, Nanshao Town in the west, and Thirteen Town and Yanshou Town in the north. The town area is 62.85 square kilometers.
In December 1947, Cuicun area belonged to Changshun County's third and fourth districts. in April 1949, Changshun County was divided into Changping and Shunyi counties, and belonged to Changping County's third and fourth districts. on February 24, 1956, Changping County was transferred to Beijing, and changed to Changping District. the small townships were merged into Cuicun Township, and Nanshuang Village was transferred to Xingshou Township. Cuicun Township belonged to the fourth district of Changping District and was stationed in Xiaotangshan. 1958.9, Cuicun Township and other 3 townships were merged to form Dongfeng People's Commune. 1958.12, Dongfeng and Hongqi Commune were merged to form Xiaotangshan Commune. 1961.2.5, Cuicun station was separated from Xiaotangshan Commune and Cuicun People's Commune was established and was stationed in Xicuicun. 1963.2.14, Nanzhuang Village was merged into Cuicun Commune. 1982.12, Cuicun Township was re-established and was transferred to Cuicun Commune. On December 5, 1997, Cuicun Township was changed to a town. As of the end of 2018, Cuicun Township had a household population of 14,495. As of June 2020, Cuicun Town has 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town government is located in the north side of Changcui Road, Cuicun Town, Changping District.
In 2011, the total industrial output value of Cuicun Town reached 850 million yuan, an increase of 9.5% over the previous year, and the industrial added value accounted for 45% of the GDP. Total fiscal revenue of 73 million yuan, an increase of 0.1% over the previous year. Of which 23 million yuan of local revenue, an increase of 0.1% over the previous year. From the point of view of each major tax, the completion of 17 million yuan of sales tax, value-added tax of 26 million yuan, 15 million yuan of corporate income tax, personal income tax of 3 million yuan.
