Chengbei Street, a street under the jurisdiction of Changping District, Beijing, is the seat of Changping District Party Committee and District Government, and is located in the functional core area of Changping New Town, which is situated between longitude 116°12′18″~116°16′04″E and latitude 40°11′57″~40°14′49″N. It is adjacent to Nanshao Town in the east and adjoins with Chengnan Street in the west and south, and borders with Thirteen Ling Town in the north. It is adjacent to Nanshao Town to the east, Chengnan Street to the west and south, and Thirteen Town to the north. The street area is 18.9 square kilometers.
Yongan City was built here in the first year of Ming Jingtai (1450). In the third year of Ming Jingtai (1452), the seat of Changping County was moved from the old county west of the city. In the eighth year of Zhengde of Ming Dynasty (1513), Changping County was elevated to the state, and the county seat was changed to the state seat. At the end of Ming Dynasty, it was the seat of Changping Road. In the early Qing Dynasty, it was the seat of Bachang Road. In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), the state was changed to a county, and it was the county government seat, called Changping Town. from May 1990 to December 1999, it was an urban town, and on December 30, 1999, it was established as Chengbei Street. As of the end of 2011, Chengbei Street had a resident population of 187,228. As of June 2020, Chengbei Street has 43 communities and 5 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the street office located at No.1 Reservoir Road, Changping District.
In 2011, the total industrial output value of Chengbei Street was 297.36 million yuan, an increase of 23.5% over the previous year, and the local financial revenue was 310 million yuan, an increase of 29.3% over the previous year. From the point of view of each major tax, the completion of business tax of 63 million yuan, value-added tax of 21 million yuan, corporate income tax of 14 million yuan, respectively, an increase of 19.5%, 22%, 66.4% over the previous year.
