Baishan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Changping District, Beijing, is located in the southeast of Changping District, between longitude 116°16'34"~116°22'00 "E and latitude 40°07'01"~40°11'52 "N. It is close to Xiaotangshan Town in the east, adjacent to Wenyu River in the south and Beijijia Town in the north. East of Xiaotangshan Town, south of the Wenyu River and Beijijia Town adjacent to the west of Shahe Higher Education Park and Shahe Town border, north of the Jingmi Diversion Canal and the town of Nanshao, Cuicun Town connected. The town area is 35.19 square kilometers.
On December 12, 1948, Baishang area belonged to the 10th district of Changshun County, and in August 1949, it belonged to the 3rd district of Changping County, and in February 1950, it belonged to the 2nd and 4th districts of Changping County, and each natural village was built into a village government, and in July 1953, the village government was abolished and a township was established, with Baishan Township having jurisdiction over Baishang and Mengzu 2 villages, Shishiyang Township having jurisdiction over Lianggezhuang, Naiwa, Zhongying and Shishiying 4 villages, and Niufangtuan Township having jurisdiction over Lugezhuang, Semibi, and Cuicun. The township has jurisdiction over 4 villages of Luguozhuang, Semibijie, Erdezhuang and Niufangcircle, and belongs to the fourth district. Shangdongguo and Xiadongguo villages belong to Xinlitun Township, and Dongshatun belongs to Wangzhuang Township, belonging to District 2. In February 1956, Baishang, Shishiying and Niufangcircle Townships were merged into Baishang Township. Dongshatun, Shangdongguo and Xiadongguo belonged to Songlangbao Township.In 1958, it belonged to Hongqi People's Commune and then Xiaotangshan Commune, and the townships were called workstations.In January 1960, it belonged to Changping County.In May 1961, Baishang People's Commune was established.In July 1982, the commune was transformed into a township.In 1997, the township was abolished and transformed into a township, with the jurisdiction of the current area. As of the end of 2018, Baishan Town had a household population of 16,961. As of June 2020, Baishan Township has 2 communities and 13 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township government stationed in Naiwa Village, Baishan Township, Changping District.
In 2011, the total industrial output value of Baishan Town reached 710 million yuan, an increase of 36.9% over the previous year. The total financial income of 36.26 million yuan, an increase of 16.5% over the previous year. Industrial and commercial tax revenue completed 200 million yuan, an increase of 19.7% over the previous year. From the point of view of each major tax, the completion of sales tax of 22.625 million yuan, value-added tax of 73.262 million yuan, 63.356 million yuan of corporate income tax, personal income tax of 22.311 million yuan, respectively, compared with the previous year's growth of -40%, 37.9%, 66.3%, 67%.
