Keqiao District, belongs to Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. Located in the north-central part of Zhejiang Province, it is situated on the south shore of Hangzhou Bay and the northern foot of Huiji Mountain, bordering Shangyu District and Yuecheng District in the east, Shengzhou City and Zhuji City in the southeast and southwest respectively, bordering Xiaoshan District of Hangzhou City in the west and northwest, and bordering the sea in the north, with a total area of 1,041 square kilometers. As of 00:00 on November 1, 2020, Keqiao District had a resident population of 1,098,900 people. As of October 2021, Keqiao District has 11 streets and 5 towns under its jurisdiction, and the district people's government is located at No. 1661 Qunxian Road, Keqiao Street, Keqiao District, Shaoxing City.
Keqiao District, the ancient name of Yuezhou, Huiji, Shanyin, is the first batch of national historical and cultural cities, Zhejiang high-quality development and construction of common wealth demonstration area of the second batch of pilot areas. Qin, the original Yue land called Dazhou, Dazhou changed to Shanyin. In 1983, Shaoxing County was analyzed to build Yuecheng District (county level), and in 2013, Shaoxing County was abolished and Keqiao District was established.
In 2022, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Keqiao District is 190.136 billion yuan, calculated on the basis of comparable prices, an increase of 4.5% over the previous year; of which, the added value of the primary industry is 4.235 billion yuan, the added value of the secondary industry is 97.057 billion yuan, the added value of the tertiary industry is 88.845 billion yuan, and the structure of the three industries is 2.2:51.0:46.7.The average per capita GDP (household registration) is 271,608 yuan.
