Xinchang County, belonging to Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, is located in the eastern part of Zhejiang Province and the southern part of Shaoxing, bordering Fenghua District of Ningbo City and Ninghai County of Ningbo City in the east, Tiantai County of Taizhou City in the south, Dongyang City of Jinhua City and Pan'an County of Jinhua City in the southwest, and Shengzhou City in the west and north, which belongs to the same basin of Shengzhou City, with a county area of 1,213 square kilometers.
