Changze County belongs to the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China, and is located in the northwestern part of Tibet, the eastern part of the Ali region, and the hinterland of the northern Tibetan plateau. East and Naqu city of Shuanghu, Nima County, southeast and Tsokan County, south and Rikaze City, Zhongba County adjacent to the west and Geji County, Ritu County border, north of the Kunlun Mountains as the border with the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
