Dongtso Township, belonging to Rezhe County, Ali Region, Tibet Autonomous Region, is located in the eastern part of Rezhe County, bordering with Shuanghu Office of Nyima County, Nagchu Region in the east, bordering with Tsoqin County in the south, bordering with Rezhe Township in the west, and bordering with Gum Township in the north, with an administrative area of 6,601.38 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the registered population of Dongtso Township was 2,845.
In 1960, Reze County was set up; in 1999, the district was abolished and townships were established as Dongtso Township and Gum Township. As of June 2020, Dongtso Township has 5 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is based in Tsirigolai Village.
