Mami Township, belonging to Reze County, Ali Region, Tibet Autonomous Region, is located in the southern part of Reze County, neighboring Dongtso Township in the east, bordering Zhongba County, Shigatse Region, in the south, bordering Yage Township, Geji County, in the west, and connecting to Reze Township in the north, with an administrative area of 8,787.91 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the household population of Mami Township was 5,056.
In 1960, Reze County was set up; in 1999, the district was abolished and the township was established as Mami Township. As of June 2020, Ma Mi Township has 10 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is based in Cha Tso Village.
