Thingma Township, belonging to Reze County, Ali Region, Tibet Autonomous Region, is located in the western part of Reze County, adjacent to Reze Township in the east, bordering with Mami Township in the south, bordering with Salt Lake Township, Geji County in the west, and bordering with Precedence Township in the north, with an administrative area of 8371.31 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the registered population of Muma Township was 2,587.
In 1960, Rezhe County was established; in April 1964, Itma District was set up; in 1999, the district was abolished and the townships were merged to set up Itma Township and Advance Township. As of June 2020, Thingma Township has 7 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located in Robgu Village.
