Xiawafang Street, belonging to Hexi District, Tianjin City, is located in the northeast of Hexi District, the Haihe River on the west bank of the Haihe River, east of the Haihe River and Hedong District across the river, east of Taierzhuang Road, the southern boundary of the new Wai Tai Road, Xiangjiang Road, Jinhe River South Road and Hangjiaji Street, west of the Guangdong Road, Qiongzhou Road, Longchang Road, respectively, and Taoyuan Street, Yuexiu Road, Street, north of the Shaoxing Road and the Dayingmen Street, the jurisdiction of a total area of 1.70 square kilometers. At the end of 2011, the total population of Xiawafang Street area was 53,266. There were another 2,170 floating population. In June 1968, the Revolutionary Committee of Xiawafang Street was established.In 1972, the Revolutionary Committee of Xiawafang Street set up an office.In May 1978, the Revolutionary Committee of Xiawafang Street was abolished, and the title of street office was restored.In May 2000, Liuzhuang Street was merged into Xiawafang Street. As of June 2020, Lower Wafang Street has 10 neighborhoods under its jurisdiction, and the street office is located at 50 Fujian Road. In 2017, the total revenue of the departmental accounts of Xiawafang Street was 28,816,000 yuan, an increase of 1,352,000 yuan compared with the 2016 accounts, of which: 26,322,000 yuan of revenue from financial allocations, accounting for 91.3%; 44,000 yuan of revenue from subsidies from higher levels, accounting for 0.2%; and 58,000 yuan of other revenue, accounting for 0.2%.
