Jianshan Street, belonging to Hexi District of Tianjin, is located in the southwest of Hexi District, starting from Hongze Road in the east, Wuzhou Waterway in the south, Longchang Road and Baiyunshan Road in the west, and Dagu South Road in the north, with the maximum distance between east and west of the district of 1.7 kilometers, and the maximum distance between north and south of 5.1 kilometers, and the total area of 6.3 square kilometers. According to the 2010 National Sixth Population Census, the total population of the area under the jurisdiction of Jianshan Street is 91,800 people.
In 1963, the former Tucheng Street was transferred from Chentangzhuang to set up Jianshan Street, and in 1995, Weidongli Community was transferred to Youyi Road Street, and in December 2006, part of the street boundary between Meijiang and Jianshan Streets was adjusted, with the centerline of Baiyunshan Road as the boundary, and the area west of Baiyunshan Road Center Line, south of Fuxing River Center Line, east of the centerline of Youyi South Road, and north of the centerline of Zhujiang Road was transferred to Meijiang Street, and the area east of the centerline of Baiyunshan Road was transferred to Meijiang Street, and the area north of Zhujiang Road was transferred to Meijiang Street. East of the centerline of Baiyunshan Road is assigned to Jianshan Street. As of June 2020, Jianshan Street has 13 communities under its jurisdiction, and the street office is located at the intersection of South Jiefang Road and Fuxing River.
