It facilitated in-depth communication between the Tianjin government and enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region, serving as a bridge for industrial relocation, government-enterprise collaboration, and project implementation between the regions.

01 A Unique Geographical Location Defines Our Mission

Since the Yuan Dynasty, Hexi District has been characterized by a historical and cultural tradition of “thriving canal transportation and riverside settlements.” Today, Hexi has evolved into Tianjin’s administrative, business, financial, and cultural center.

It is both a center and a focal point.

Earlier this year, Tianjin Mayor Zhang proposed in his Government Work Report that over the next five years, efforts would be concentrated on implementing the “Ten Initiatives.”

As the core of Tianjin’s central urban area and a key window for opening up and international exchange, Hexi District has consistently anchored its goals around the “Ten Initiatives,” establishing “building a strong economic district and creating a city of quality” as the “main theme” of its development.

Building on a vibrant economic foundation, Hexi District has set its sights on long-term development, aiming to achieve a total economic output of 130 billion yuan by 2027.

Behind this ambitious goal lies the district’s determination and resolve to pursue high-quality investment promotion and develop high-end industries.

Convenient transportation, a rich cultural heritage, thriving commerce, excellent education, healthy living conditions, and an eco-friendly environment form the district’s foundational character. Local enterprises have described its industrial landscape as characterized by distinct clustering advantages and a first-class business environment. Hexi District is now embracing a more open stance to attract even more high-quality enterprises.

02 Looking Back on a Decade of Development: Every Step in Hexi Has Been Solid and Resolute

Looking back at Hexi District’s development over the past decade, its regional GDP has grown rapidly from 67.18 billion yuan in 2013 to 112.96 billion yuan in 2022. Since 2018, Hexi District’s GDP has consistently ranked second in the city, demonstrating robust momentum in regional economic development.

This rapid economic growth has provided a strong driving force for corporate technological innovation. Last year, Hexi District was home to 253 national-level technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises, a year-on-year increase of 13.5%; 200 national high-tech enterprises, a year-on-year increase of 38%; and a total of 133 “ChuYing,” “Gazelle,” and “Leading” enterprises, representing a year-on-year growth of over 50%.

The collaborative development of enterprises has accelerated industrial clustering. Today, Hexi District has formed five major industrial clusters—financial services, creative design, the digital economy, headquarters trade, and shipping services—with the clustering effect becoming increasingly prominent.

“Gathering industries through buildings, and revitalizing industries through production.” The rapid and high-quality development of industries has gone hand in hand with the dramatic transformation of the central urban area: the Chentang Technology and Business District has been completely revitalized; the Northern Design Alliance is leading the development of the Design Capital Pilot Zone; Xinbali has undergone a metamorphosis; the Digital Economy Industrial Park has risen from the ground; and the Financial Street on Youyi Road is making its mark…

Enterprises, industries, parks, and districts rely on and empower one another, with Hexi District bursting with vigorous vitality everywhere.

At every step of this journey, Hexi has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to bold action and innovation, fully embodying its responsibility to fulfill the functional定位 of “One Base and Three Zones.”

Looking ahead, Hexi District will remain committed to prioritizing projects and investment promotion, further expanding the “two arms” of industrial development. We welcome enterprises to establish operations and invest here, while strengthening, extending, and reinforcing the industrial chains in our key sectors—including finance, digital technology, and shipping—to build a high-ground for industrial development.

As a long-standing partner of Tianjin’s Hexi District, Guchuan Lianxing has extended targeted invitations to over 150 prospective enterprises for Hexi’s investment promotion events. By establishing cross-regional communication channels between government and business, the firm has provided strong momentum for local governments’ investment promotion efforts.

Moving forward, GuChuan Alliance will further leverage its strengths in platform data resources, professional investment promotion expertise, precise project analysis, and forward-looking industrial planning to provide local governments with greater momentum for regional development.
