Ziya Town, belonging to Jinghai District of Tianjin, is located in the southwest of Jinghai District, neighboring Liangtou Town in the east, Yanzhuang Town in the south, Wangkou Town in the north, and bounded by Degui Township of Wen'an County and Wangcun Township of Dacheng County in Hebei Province in the west, with an area of 74.16 square kilometers of administrative area. As of the end of 2019, Ziya Town had a household population of 37,444.
During the Qing Dynasty, the Ziya Di practice was set up and belonged to the West Road of Jinghai County; in June 1989, Ziya Township was abolished and set up as a township; in 2011, four villages, namely, Wangzhuangzi, Zhaozhuangzi, Zhouzhuangzi, and Wuzhuangzi of Liangtou Township and Xiaoliu Village of Wangkou Township, were assigned to Ziya Township. As of June 2020, Ziya Town has 21 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Wang Erzhuang Village.
In 2016, ZiYa Town completed the total financial income of 55.55 million yuan, an increase of 56% over the previous year. From the perspective of each major tax, the completion of sales tax of 490,000 yuan, enterprise income tax of 6.76 million yuan, personal income tax of 1.37 million yuan.In 2019, ZiYa Town has 157 industrial enterprises, of which 4 are above scale, and there are 61 general stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters or more.
