Dafengdui Town, belonging to Jinghai District of Tianjin, is located in the central-eastern part of Jinghai District, neighboring Tuanbo Town to the east, Xidaizhuang Town to the south, Jinghai Town and Shuangtang Town to the west, and Yangchengzhuang Township to the north, with an administrative area of 55.7 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Dafengdui Town had a household population of 15,796.
During the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the Gaojiazhuang ground practice in the south road of Jinghai County; in March 2001, Dafengdui Township was changed to Dafengdui Town; in June 2011, the four villages under its jurisdiction, Cuizhuangzi, Li Bazhuang, Yuezhuangzi, and Baigongtuo, were analyzed to be returned to Dajiuchengzhuang Town. As of June 2020, Dafengdui Town has 16 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is stationed in Dafengdui Village.
In 2016, Dafengdui Town completed a total revenue of 110 million yuan, an increase of -39.7% over the previous year. From the perspective of each major tax type, the completed sales tax is 9 million yuan, enterprise income tax is 28 million yuan, and personal income tax is 2.1 million yuan.In 2019, Dafengdui Town has 113 industrial enterprises, of which 29 are above scale, and there are 52 general stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters or above.
