Zhongwang Town, belonging to Jinghai District, Tianjin City, is located in the southeast of Jinghai District, east of Xiaowangzhuang Town, Binhai New Area, west of Mafang Town and Jinniu Town, Qing County, Hebei Province, south of Qijiawu Township, Huanghua City, and north of Caigongzhuang Town, with an area of 118.4 square kilometers in the administrative area. As of the end of 2019, Zhongwang Town had a household population of 35,550. During the Qing Dynasty, Zhongwang Di Lian was set up and belonged to the East Road of Jinghai County; in March 1988, Zhongwang Township was abolished and set up as a township; in August 2001, Dazhuangzi Township was abolished and merged into Zhongwang Township. As of June 2020, Zhongwang Town has 1 community and 29 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Zhongwang Village. In 2016, Zhongwang Town realized a total industrial output value of 3.9 billion yuan; there were 10 large and medium-sized enterprises above the scale, with 838 employees.In 2019, Zhongwang Town has 230 industrial enterprises, of which 24 are above the scale, and there are 60 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters.
