Dazhangzhuang Town, belonging to Beichen District, Tianjin City, is located in the northeast of Beichen District, neighboring Xiditou Town in the east, bordering Shuangjie Town in the west, relying on Xiaodian Town and Jinyu Highway in the south, and bordering with Meifang Town, Wuqing District in the north, with an administrative area of 98.16 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Dazhangzhuang Town had a household population of 36,367. In 1983, Zhutangzhuang Commune was changed to a township.In May 1992, Zhutangzhuang Township was renamed Dazhangzhuang Township.In December 1997, it was changed to a town.In October 2001, Nanwangping Township was incorporated into Dazhangzhuang Town.
