Jiangji Town, belonging to Ningyang County, Tai'an City, Shandong Province, is located in the central part of Ningyang County, adjacent to the town of Jieyao in the east, bordering the town of Ge Shi in the south, connected to the town of Mound City in the west, and bordering the city of Feicheng and the district of Dayue in the north by the Dawen River, the administrative area of the town covers an area of 65 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Jiangji Town has a household population of 40,340. In August 1983, it was changed to Jiangji District.In November 1985, the district was withdrawn to build Jiangji Township, and 7 villages of the former Huaguan Township were assigned to Magyao Township.In December 1994, Jiangji Township was changed to a town.
