The Ningyang County Agricultural High-Tech Industrial Development Zone is located within the scope of the Yellow River Basin Ecological Conservation and High-Quality Development Strategy and Shandong Province’s “One Circle, One Belt” plan. Established in June 2022, it is the only agricultural high-tech industrial development zone in the province focused on the full livestock and poultry industry chain. It has fostered a number of leading agricultural enterprises, including Tai’an Wens, Ningyang Wens, Bilan Biotechnology, Dafu Foods, Zhenghe Breeding, and Yuemeike Meat Processing.With a total planned area of 772.33 square kilometers, the zone is divided into a core area and a demonstration area. The core area, located in central Ningyang County, covers a planned area of 16.12 square kilometers.Bordered by the Jingtai Expressway and G104 to the east, S104 to the west, and the Wari Railway running through the north, the zone features the Dongliang Expressway and G342 connecting east and west in the central area. It offers direct access to Qufu and Tai’an high-speed rail stations within 30 minutes and reaches Jinan within one hour, forming an efficient and convenient “three vertical, three horizontal” road network system.
