Suxi Township, formerly belonging to Guang'an District, Guang'an City, Sichuan Province, is located in the central part of Guang'an District, bordering on the Qiujiang River in the east and south, across the river from Hucheng Township and Guantang Township, adjacent to Dalong Township in the west, and bordering with Da'an Township and Shishang Township in the north. The area is 25.02 square kilometers, with a household population of 10,261 as of the end of 2018.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Wangxi Township.In 1984, the commune was changed to a township.In October 1992, it was incorporated into Da'an Township.In June 1994, it was analyzed and set up Suxi Township.In December 2019, Chongwang Township, Dalong Township and Suxi Township were abolished, and Dalong Township was established.
