Xiao Xi Town, belonging to Guang'an District, Guang'an City, Sichuan Province, is located in the northeastern part of Guang'an District, on the west bank of the Qiujiang River. It is separated from Langya Town and Baohe Township of Quxian County in Dazhou City by the river in the east, connected with Guangxing Town and Baishi Town in the south, neighboring with Stalagmite Town, Hengsheng Town and Longtai Town in the west, and bordering with Baota Township of Quxian County in Dazhou City in the north. The area is 61.81 square kilometers, with a household population of 40,025 as of the end of 2018.
During the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Ronglu Township. In the 10th year of the Republic of China (1921), it was set up as Xiaojiaxi Township.In 1971, it was renamed Zhushan Commune.In March 1983, the commune was changed to a township.In 1992, the 2 townships of Xiaoxi and Zhushan were merged to form Xiaoxi Township. As of June 2020, Xiaoxi Township has 1 community and 16 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
