Lund County, belongs to Guyuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It is located at the western foot of Liupan Mountain and the border of Ningnan, between latitude 35°21'-35°47'N and longitude 105°48'-106°15'E. As of February 2022, Lund's calligraphy, painting, paper-cutting, clay sculpture, seal-carving and other folk folklore cultures involve Lund in more than 50 of the more than 100 items in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Census Catalog, of which Yang's clay sculpture and Gaotaima's social fire are included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage masterpieces, and 11 items, such as folk paintings and paper-cutting, are included in the list of intangible cultural heritage protection at the autonomous region level. In the 14th year of the Republic of China (1935), Mao Zedong led the Red Army of the Chinese Workers and Peasants on a long march through Lund over Liupan Mountain, and wrote the famous poem "Qingpingle - Liupan Mountain", and within the territory there are scenic spots such as Liupan Sky Pond, Fuxi Cliffs, Qingliang World, and the Old Alley of Red Cliffs. It has been honored as "China Modern Folk Painting Hometown", "China Advanced Cultural County", "China Calligraphy Hometown" and so on.
