Zhang Cheng Township, belonging to Lund County, Guyuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, is located in the northwestern part of Lund County, bordering Yanghe Township in the east, Shatang Township, Shenlin Township and Liancai Township in the south, and Xinglong Township in Xiji County in the west and north, with an administrative area of 80.35 square kilometers. As of the end of 2020, the household population of Zhang Cheng Township was 10,154.
In February 1984, the township structure was restored and changed to Taoyuan Township and Zhang Cheng Township. in November 2003, Taoyuan Township was merged into Zhang Cheng Township. As of October 2021, Zhang Cheng Township has 8 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located in Zhang Cheng Village.
